The other day I woke up and got on the scales. They read 274 pounds. I was too asleep to see how ridiculous that was. Later in the week, the same scales read 228 pounds.
Now, truth be told, I’m somewhere in the middle. Besides learning that I need new batteries in my scale, I also learned weight is relative.
I’m looking at progress overall. Are my jeans loose? Am I more active? Can I walk up the stairs and still breathe?
