Commitment

I looked up the definition of commitment on dictionary.com. It sent me to commit. From there, I scrolled through lots of other definitions. Then, I found a great one!

To send into battle

That’s it! I’m battling my own body. My own poor choices.

You see, I’m very familiar with the battling your own brain thing. I live with bipolar disorder. I haven’t fought my own body in quite awhile.

This time it’s not my brain, it’s my strength. My physical strength. More so, my mental strength. And I’m winning!

April 9th I start a month long health accountability group. I started a little early. This is my second week working out. Next week, I start the meal plan. I’m so excited! I’ve got a tribe cheering me on. I’ve got an incredibly supportive partner. I’ve got this. Thank you if you’re my cheerleader. This battle is mine!
