It was Thanksgiving Break of 2005. I was in the operating room…completely awake…waiting for the cut.
I had scheduled LASIK surgery because since I was a child I wasn’t able to see the alarm clock when I would wake up. The opportunity came for me to have the surgery.
After a panic attack in the OR, surgery went fine. Healing went fine. And now almost twelve years later, I can still see the alarm clock when I wake up. It amazes me daily. This is the best large purchase I have ever made.
The doctor told me that my vision would change day to day…and it does. I sometimes wear glasses to drive at night because of the halos and dry eyes. But I can see the alarm clock! THE ALARM CLOCK! Lol. I’m thankful beyond words for this opportunity. If you are like I was, it may be worth checking into.
